Four heritage items were recognized in this round. Among them, in Decision No. 1350/QD-BVHTTDL dated May 14, 2025, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to include the heritage item "Chhay-dăm drum performance art of the Khmer people in Tri Ton district and Tinh Bien town, An Giang province" in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage, under the category of folk performing arts.
Chhay-dăm drumming is a unique folk performance art of the Khmer people, often performed during festivals. When performing Chhay-dăm drumming, the artist wears the drum in front of their stomach, striking it with their hands or elbows… the rhythm is accompanied by graceful and skillful drumming movements. Chhay-dăm drumming can be performed by one or more people simultaneously.

The remaining heritage items recognized as National Intangible Cultural Heritage in this round are the traditional festival "Cheo Tau Song Festival of Tong Goi commune, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi "; the social customs and beliefs "Forest worship ritual of the Pa Di people in Muong Khuong district, Lao Cai province"; and the traditional craft knowledge "Basket weaving of the Tay people in Nghia Do commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province".
These decisions take effect from the date of signing. The Chairpersons of the People's Committees at all levels in localities where intangible cultural heritage is included in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage shall, within their duties and powers, exercise state management in accordance with the law on cultural heritage.
