Kien An District commends excellent workers, rewards exemplary unions and gives gifts in Workers' Month 2025

In 2024, the District Labor Federation has concretized the theme of Trade Union activities and the district's annual theme into emulation movements in a practical and effective manner, attracting a large number of union members, workers and employees to participate. Thereby, contributing to the successful completion of the targets and tasks of agencies, units, localities and Trade Union organizations. The movement "Good workers - Creative workers" has been widely deployed, associated with the characteristics of each emulation block: "Higher productivity, better quality" in the production and business sector; "Good advice, good service" in administrative agencies and public service units; "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning" in schools; "Innovation, creativity, efficiency" in Trade Union activities. Through the movements, many typical collectives and individuals have been commended at all levels. In 2024, the entire district has 1,269 cadres, civil servants and public employees achieving the title of Advanced Laborer; 262 individuals achieving the title of Grassroots Emulation Fighter; 361 individuals receiving Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the District People's Committee; 30 individuals receiving Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the City People's Committee; along with hundreds of other collectives and individuals receiving awards at all levels.

Also at the Conference, the District Labor Federation summarized the implementation of the "Sticky rice, sweet soup" Contest in 2025 launched by the City Labor Federation. The contest attracted 95 entries, contributing to improving knowledge and housework skills for female union members, workers and civil servants; at the same time promoting the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework", affirming the role of female workers in building a prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized family.

Speaking at the Conference, Standing Vice Chairman of Kien An District People's Committee Nguyen Phong Doanh acknowledged and commended the achievements that all levels of Trade Unions in the district had achieved in 2024; at the same time, congratulated the individuals who were commended and rewarded at the Conference.

The Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Trade Unions at all levels continue to fully and deeply grasp the Directives and Resolutions of the Party, the policies and laws of the State; especially focus on promoting patriotic emulation movements, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks in 2025. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen propaganda and mobilize union members to strictly comply with labor discipline, actively study to improve their education, skills and professional expertise. Promote innovation and improve the quality of patriotic emulation movements, associated with the political tasks of each agency, unit and locality.

The Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee also emphasized the importance of training and fostering to improve the professional qualifications, expertise and political theory of trade union officials from the grassroots to the district level, in order to better meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.

At the Conference, Kien An District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 25 individuals, the District Labor Federation rewarded 23 outstanding individuals in the "Excellent Labor" movement in 2024. At the same time, 12 typical grassroots Trade Unions in the "Sticky Rice, Sweet Soup" Contest in 2025 were also commended.

On the occasion of Workers' Month 2025, the City Labor Federation coordinated with the Poor Workers' and Civil Servants' Fund and the District Labor Federation to present 94 gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances./.
