Mang Den Dead Forest is located in Mang Ri Commune, Tu Mo Rong District, Kon Tum Province, about 50 km from Mang Den Town. The area of dead forest is about 25.36 hectares, belonging to the Thuong Kon Tum Hydropower Plant, which is known as the largest hydropower project in the province. The hydropower project is located on the Dak Snghe River - a branch of the Dak Bla River (a first-level branch of the Se San River).
