On November 25, the People's Committee of Mang Den Commune, Quang Ngai Province, confirmed that the Pa Sy Waterfall tourist site had temporarily suspended operations due to the consequences of prolonged heavy rains. This decision was made to ensure the safety of tourists and to serve the incident handling work.
Severe infrastructure damage
According to records, heavy rains have caused landslides and rocks to flow down the stream, filling up many sections of the stream. Many trees have fallen, blocking the path and structures in the tourist area, causing serious damage to the infrastructure and posing a potential safety risk.

Mang Den Commune Public Service Center has officially announced the temporary suspension of receiving visitors at Pa Sy waterfall until further notice.

The government intervened to fix the problem.
On November 24, Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Do Tam Hien directly inspected the landslide scene. Mr. Hien requested Mang Den commune and related units to urgently clear the flow, handle landslides and deploy solutions to ensure safety for tourism infrastructure.
The leader of Mang Den Commune People's Committee said that in the short term, the commune will use its reserve fund to handle urgent issues. In the long term, the commune will report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to support funding for overall repairs, and at the same time, comprehensively assess the extent of damage to have a suitable solution.
Typical destination of Mang Den
Pa Sy Waterfall has long been one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mang Den thanks to its pristine natural landscape and fresh, cool air. The temporary closure is a necessary measure to ensure safety and to quickly restore the area's natural beauty after the disaster. The tourist spot is expected to reopen after the repair work is completed.
