The area identified to have suffered damage is located at Km226+600 - Km226+800 (design route Km3+600 - Km3+800), part of the project to renovate and upgrade the section through Mimosa Pass and some items on National Highway 20, managed by Project Management Board 85.

Immediately after announcing the emergency situation, the Ministry of Construction directed relevant units to deploy remedial work according to regulations.
Specifically, the Ministry of Construction directed the Department of Economics - Construction Investment Management to review, determine the extent of damage, propose repair solutions and issue an Emergency Construction Order to remedy the consequences.
Project Management Board 85 is the unit responsible to the Minister of Construction for the contents of reports on damage and deterioration of infrastructure.
The Department of Transport and Traffic Safety is also assigned to urge and guide units to deploy remedial work.

Currently, in phase 1, at this section, Project Management Board 85 is urgently leveling and opening a temporary road, ensuring the completion of technical asphalt by November 28, and is expected to officially open to traffic on November 29, 2025.
The Ministry of Construction has agreed on a long-term plan to build an overpass at the damaged location to ensure sustainable traffic safety. Phase 2 of the project will start in mid-December and is expected to take about three months to complete.
