Ready for the exhibition celebrating 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press

Precious documents on the history of journalism are being prepared for display.

Quang Ninh Press Festival held on May 17 is the launching activity of a series of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press in the province, including: Exhibition of 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press, History of Quang Ninh Press and outstanding achievements of the province; Discussion with the theme "Quang Ninh journalists learn and follow Ho Chi Minh's journalism style in the new era"; Team Building and outdoor gala dinner, contributing to creating an atmosphere of pride and excitement about the tradition of solidarity and glory of revolutionary press in Quang Ninh; tightening the team, striving to compete to contribute to building the homeland, building Vietnam's revolutionary press to be increasingly united, professional, modern and humane.

In particular, the Exhibition of 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, History of Quang Ninh Press and outstanding achievements of the province opened at 8:00 a.m. on May 17 and the Exhibition will last until May 27 at the Special Exhibition Hall, Quang Ninh Museum. The exhibition includes the following spaces: 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, History of Quang Ninh Press, outstanding achievements of Quang Ninh province. In particular, the Virtual Reality Studio area, interacting with the public, is invested in and carefully prepared, promising to attract the attention of journalists and delegates attending. The Virtual Reality Studio simulates a miniature studio, with a professional, modern perspective, often used in news bulletins, weather forecasts, etc.

Mr. Tran Tien Long, Deputy Head of Information Technology and Program Production Department (Provincial Media Center) said: The unit has prepared equipment to simulate a miniature studio. Delegates can experience a live TV broadcast; learn about modern television production methods, keeping up with international trends.

In addition, the Exhibition also displays many valuable documents and artifacts associated with the historical process of the Vietnamese revolutionary press, as well as the Quang Ninh press. The artifacts are newspapers and articles recording important historical events of the country and the province, which have been carefully preserved and stored. In addition, there are radio and television broadcasting machines and equipment prepared by the Provincial Media Center, which have accompanied the milestones of formation and development of Quang Ninh province, such as: Microphones that honored to record Uncle Ho's voice on the occasions when he visited Quang Ninh; cameras that took pictures of Lieutenant An-ve-ret, the first American pilot captured alive by the people and army of Quang Ninh in the first battle on August 5, 1964; loudspeakers from the former Soviet Union equipped for Hon Gai town in 1972...

Virtual reality studio creates interaction and keeps up with world journalism trends.

Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Hoa, Advisor of the Vietnam National Press Museum, said: To prepare for this exhibition, we have urgently prepared many valuable documents, including the Quang Ninh Newspaper recording the event of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country published on May 3, 1975. Currently, the documents have been transferred from Hanoi to Quang Ninh. We continue to coordinate with the Quang Ninh Museum to prepare the podium and display cabinets, ready for the Press Festival.

After the opening of the exhibition, there will be a discussion program: "Quang Ninh journalists learn and follow Ho Chi Minh's journalism style in the new era" with the participation of 100 delegates who are local leaders, leaders of press agencies and reporters and newspapers in the province. From 3:00 p.m. on May 17, the Team Building program and outdoor gala dinner will take place at Tuan Chau Beach (Tuan Chau Ward, Ha Long City).
