BHG - In 2015, during his working trip to Ha Giang , President Tran Duc Luong visited Chang village, Viet Lam commune (Vi Xuyen). Localities should continue to pay attention to investing in infrastructure construction. In particular, focus on tourism development, building cultural villages associated with community tourism, building new rural areas, etc.

Listening to the late President's teachings, up to now, the people of Chang village have always been united, cooperating together to work and produce with their own strengths".

Viet Lam commune has become a bright spot in the construction of new rural areas in Vi Xuyen district with a poverty rate of less than 3%.

10 years have passed, the advice of President Tran Duc Luong that year is still valid. The Party Committee, government and people of Ha Giang in general and Viet Lam commune in particular always consider it as the "compass" in all actions. From building a strong political system to transforming the economic structure according to the value chain and preserving good cultural values. Today, Viet Lam has risen from a purely agricultural commune to a bright spot in the construction of the new rural area of ​​Vi Xuyen district with a poverty rate of less than 3%. As affirmed by Chairman of the People's Committee of Viet Lam commune Nguyen Van Thuan: "From the dedicated and responsible advice of former President Tran Duc Luong, the Party Committee, government and people of Viet Lam commune always remember and are determined to strive to complete all the set goals".
