Provincial Fatherland Front Committee: Collecting opinions and suggestions on the Draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution

BHG - On the afternoon of May 23, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Provincial Committee held a conference to collect comments on the Draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Vice Chairman of the VFF Provincial Committee Nguyen Viet Khanh chaired the conference.

Representatives of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations gave their opinions at the conference.

The Draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution has 2 articles. Article 1 includes 8 clauses amending and supplementing a number of provisions of the 2013 Constitution on the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; on administrative units and local government organizations; Article 2 includes 3 clauses regulating the effective date and transitional provisions.

With a high sense of responsibility, the delegates basically agreed and highly unified with the content of the draft Resolution, especially in the rearrangement of administrative units and local government organizations. Some delegates suggested amending and supplementing some phrases and sentences to make them clear, accurate, logical, and facilitate the implementation process. In addition, they focused on discussing and giving comments on the contents related to supplementing regulations on the role, position, functions, organizational principles and operations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to ensure conformity with the new organizational model after the rearrangement of socio-political organizations under the Vietnam Fatherland Front...

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Giang Province Nguyen Viet Khanh highly appreciated the spirit, responsibility, as well as the comments and suggestions on the Draft Resolution. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will seriously and fully synthesize the comments and promptly send them to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and competent authorities, contributing to the completion of the Draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, ensuring quality, feasibility and social consensus when the Resolution is passed in the coming time.
