Propagating drowning prevention skills for students

BHG - On the morning of May 19, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PCCC & CNCH), the Provincial Police coordinated to organize propaganda to disseminate prevention of accidents, injuries, drowning and first aid skills for more than 953 students and teachers of Tran Phu Primary School ( Ha Giang city).

At the program, students were taught the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent drowning accidents by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department. The training focused on recognizing danger signs and how to prevent drowning in daily life and when participating in swimming activities. In addition, students were also informed about the causes of drowning and preventive measures such as: Warming up thoroughly before entering the water, complying with safety regulations, not swimming in dangerous areas, knowing how to give first aid when encountering drowning people, etc.

The students listened attentively to the police officers' instructions.

Through this useful and practical activity, children are not only equipped with skills to prevent drowning accidents but can also become small propagandists, spreading knowledge of drowning prevention to relatives and friends. With a lively, easy-to-understand and close communication form, the program has received positive responses from students and teachers in the school, contributing to raising awareness and minimizing unfortunate accidents that occur during the summer.
