Pacific University organizes language talent contest

The semi-final round had the participation of 9 contestants, each contestant competed in 2 contents, including presentation and singing talent, in one of three foreign languages: English, Chinese, Korean. After the semi-final round, the organizing committee selected 5 contestants to participate in the final round with the competition content including: Drawing questions, presenting in the chosen language and answering questions from the judges to demonstrate critical thinking and language reflexes.

The competition jury consists of language experts representing the university’s English Language and Oriental Studies departments, as well as media experts and international guests. Through this, candidates have the opportunity to learn and receive in-depth feedback from experts in their chosen field.

At the end of the contest, the organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize, 2 consolation prizes, 1 prize for the best English speaking contestant, 1 prize for the best Chinese speaking contestant, 1 prize for the best Korean speaking contestant, and 1 prize for the most favorite contestant voted by the audience.

Ms. Thai Thi Le Hang - Editor-in-Chief of Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Head of the Contest Jury and Professor, Dr. Dao Van Dong - Principal of Thai Binh Duong University awarded the first prize to the contestant.

The competition aims to create an academic playground for students to demonstrate their talents, stimulate creativity and develop language skills, enhance solidarity and cultural exchange within the student community. At the same time, it affirms the quality of training, modern learning environment and integration spirit of Pacific University.
