Promote propaganda on policies and tasks of nuclear power development

In order to create unity in leadership, direction, implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on the task of restarting the "Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Project" and continuing to research the "Nuclear Power Program in Vietnam", affirming the Party's correct policy on ensuring national energy security, serving the country's rapid and sustainable development in the new era; promoting information and propaganda work to raise awareness of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and union members about the role, significance and importance of the nuclear power program; propaganda work needs to be conducted regularly, comprehensively, with focus and key points, suitable for each target, ensuring the principles of publicity, transparency, accuracy and timeliness; scientific and complete information and propaganda content; Diverse and appropriate propaganda methods, ensuring close, synchronous and unified coordination between the City Party Committee and affiliated grassroots party organizations, between the City People's Committee and relevant departments and branches.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Can Tho City directed the Department of Science and Technology of the city to organize propaganda on scientific achievements, characteristics, properties and socio -economic benefits of nuclear power; history, experience and development trends of nuclear power, lessons learned from nuclear incidents in the world; propaganda on the state management system and legal documents on ensuring nuclear security and safety.

The Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City develops content, organizes information and propaganda on the role of nuclear power in energy and national power development planning; information and propaganda on the safety of nuclear power plants in project implementation areas. The Department of Agriculture and Environment of the city develops content, organizes propaganda on the role, significance and importance of atomic energy and nuclear power for the green energy program, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, developing a green economy, circular economy, responding to climate change, resource management and environmental protection. The Department of Health of the city organizes propaganda on outstanding achievements in nuclear medicine, applications of atomic energy in the field of medicine and public health care. The Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City develops content, disseminates basic knowledge about atomic energy and nuclear power in general education levels; Compile documents and design visual models to supplement knowledge about atomic energy and nuclear power suitable for all levels of secondary education...
