Effective access to capital for SMEs and housing credit

Business Coffee Session 1 2025 attracted many businesses to attend.

The program creates conditions for experts and banks to interact with businesses. Thereby, providing practical and useful knowledge, helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs) access appropriate capital sources, understand the loan process and conditions as well as make good use of current support policies.

Representatives of the State Bank provided some information related to the annual appraisal of collateral; preferential credit packages for the fields of agriculture , seafood, real estate; interest rate margins; necessary and sufficient conditions for newly established SMEs to access capital support; reference information on interest rates for SMEs; information for business households to access capital effectively... On this occasion, banks also shared additional preferential service packages in loan packages for businesses and people to buy real estate, consumer loans, car loans, and home repairs.

Enterprises also raised questions and recommended that the State Bank have specific regulations on considering the ratio of collateral assets based on appraisal results at a level of not less than 80%, creating conditions for enterprises to consider interest rates in groups with better collateral assets, ensuring sufficient capital to serve production and business; having solutions for lending interest rates between banks and customer groups, enterprises producing in the same industry, at the lowest level to support small and medium enterprises in the low group to be competitive and survive; the ability to access preferential loans of science and technology enterprises and commercialized science and technology products to be supported with loans to develop science and technology products...

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee also created conditions for CBA members to connect directly with the management of commercial banks to receive instructions on procedures for accessing capital sources as required.
