Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices today, May 24, 2025, in the Central Highlands region decreased sharply compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 122,000 - 122,500 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 122,500 VND/kg. A sharp decrease of 2,800 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee price in Dak Lak province is 122,500 VND/kg, down 2,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by VND2,500/kg and were traded at VND122,500/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices decreased by VND3,300/kg and reached VND122,000/kg.

Expert Nguyen Quang Binh predicts that domestic coffee prices may fall to 120,000 - 122,000 VND/kg, due to the impact of the downward trend in world prices. According to him, factors that have caused prices to increase sharply, such as concerns about unusual weather or the US-China trade war, are gradually cooling down.
In addition, after two years of high coffee prices, farmers are investing more in care and replanting, which will also contribute to increasing supply in the coming time.
According to VICOFA, in the first 4 months of 2025, Vietnam exported nearly 734,000 tons of green coffee, earning more than 3.95 billion USD. Compared to the same period last year, the export volume increased slightly by 1.8%, but the value skyrocketed by 69.5%. Including processed coffee, the total coffee export turnover exceeded 4 billion USD.
World coffee prices today
Coffee prices on the world market decreased slightly on two floors:
Robusta Coffee (London):
Delivery in July 2025: Down 31 USD/ton, to 4,756 USD/ton.
Delivery September 2025: Down 32 USD/ton, to 4,752 USD/ton.
Arabica Coffee (New York):
July 2025 delivery: Down 1.2 cents/lb, to 359.55 cents/lb.
September 2025 delivery: Down 1.55 cents/lb, to 357.1 cents/lb.
Coffee prices have just experienced a sharp decline, in which Arabica fell to a five-week low and Robusta to a six-week low. The main reason came from the rapid increase in coffee inventories in the world, creating great pressure on prices.
As of May 22, robusta coffee shipments monitored by ICE rose to an eight-month high of 5,425 lots, or 54,250 tonnes. This is a significant increase from the end of April and the same period last year. In addition, arabica inventories also increased to a three-and-a-half-month high of more than 883,000 bags.
Robusta harvests are accelerating in major producers such as Brazil and Indonesia. While production is not yet abundant, supplies are expected to increase in the coming months. This will push prices down further, said a trader in Vietnam.
