Fuel prices fluctuate, food prices are quite stable

Last week (from May 19 to 23), gasoline and oil prices fluctuated in opposite directions. While the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by 58 VND/liter, to 19,122 VND/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by 62 VND/liter, to 19,532 VND/liter, the prices of oil continued to increase. Specifically, the price of diesel increased by 177 VND/liter, to 17,405 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 88 VND/liter, with a maximum retail price of 17,314 VND/liter; fuel oil increased by 352 VND/kg, to 16,512 VND/kg.

During the week, the price of gold bars increased by about 2.5-3 million VND/tael at the beginning of the week, then tended to decrease by about 500 thousand to 1 million VND/tael at the end of the week. Currently, the buying price of SJC gold bars is at 118 million VND/tael, the selling price is at 120 million VND/tael.

At first-class markets in the province such as Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Long Thanh, Phuong Lam (Tan Phu district), prices of many types of food are quite stable. Pork belly costs from
150-180 thousand VND/kg, beef fillet from 280-300 thousand VND/kg, grade 1 shrimp from 180-200 thousand VND/kg, chicken eggs, grade 1 duck eggs from 24-35 thousand VND/dozen... Red tilapia alone increased by about 5 thousand VND/kg, up to 70-80 thousand VND/kg.
