DTO - On the evening of May 23, at Nguyen Sinh Sac Relic Site (Ward 4, Cao Lanh City), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province organized an art program to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), with the theme "The Land of Pink Lotus is wholeheartedly with Uncle Ho".
Attending the event were representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the province; a large number of cadres and soldiers of the provincial armed forces, teachers, students and people in Cao Lanh City.
Solo performance "In memory of the South" at the program
At the program, delegates watched the documentary “Uncle Ho and Party building”. At the same time, they enjoyed the Art Program consisting of 2 parts: Part 1 with the theme “From Hoa An, remembering Sen Village”, Part 2 with the theme “Uncle Ho’s words shine forever” including many performances such as: In the nostalgia of the South, Ho Chi Minh song, the lotus flowers of the tower, a circle of Vietnam… performed by singers, artists, actors of the Provincial Center for Culture and Arts.
Through the performances, President Ho Chi Minh's nostalgia and sacred affection for the people of the South are reenacted; his life, career, and contributions to the cause of national liberation; the heroic fighting images of the army and people of Dong Thap in the resistance war against the US to save the country; and the Land of Pink Lotus on the path of integration and development.

The program to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) shows the gratitude and infinite love of the Party Committee, government and people of Dong Thap for President Ho Chi Minh; propagates and educates the young generation about patriotism and national pride.
