Opening of the Final Round of the Hai Phong City Youth and Children's Creativity Contest 2024

The City Youth and Children's Creativity Competition is directed by the City People's Committee and assigned to the City Youth Union as the host unit, coordinating with relevant departments and branches to organize it every 2 years to arouse the potential and promote the creative thinking of youth and children; orient youth activities towards jobs that are useful to society; at the same time, help them improve their knowledge, practice creative skills, and build "The dream of becoming an inventor in the future". The competition also aims to select products and models to participate in the National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition.

In this year's contest, the city has 121 topics selected from 14 districts. The Organizing Committee established 5 judging panels including: Learning materials (21 topics); computer software (19 topics); environmentally friendly products (27 topics); household appliances and children's toys (17 topics); solutions for environmental protection, climate change response and economic development (37 topics).

Comrade Le Khac Nguyen Anh, Secretary of the City Youth Union, delivered the opening speech of the contest.

Speaking at the opening of the Contest, Comrade Le Khac Nguyen Anh, Secretary of the City Youth Union, Head of the Contest Organizing Committee, highly appreciated the efforts, attempts, and thorough investment in products with high scientific content of the units participating in this year's contest. At the same time, he affirmed that the contest is an intellectual playground to create conditions and an environment for teenagers and children to promote their creativity, contributing to socio-economic development and training high-quality young human resources to meet the needs of industrialization and modernization of the city and the country.

Candidates present topics for the Competition.

According to the Organizing Committee, the 121 products are typical topics and the results of research and creativity of teenagers and children in the city. Most of the products are based on real life.

With a spirit of impartiality and objectivity, during the 2 days of May 15 - 16, the Contest's Jury will score, review, evaluate, and select the best solution topics in each field to honor, award prizes, and send them to the national youth and children's creativity contest. It is expected that each field will award a maximum of 01 Special Prize, 01 First Prize, 02 Second Prizes, 03 Third Prizes, and 04 Consolation Prizes./.
