Training to improve occupational safety and hygiene skills for city trade union officials

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of May 17, at the Vietnam - Czech Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, the City Labor Federation organized the second training session on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025.

The conference was held to improve knowledge and skills in implementing occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace. Attending the training course were union officials and officers in charge of occupational safety and hygiene from units and enterprises in the city.

Lecturer Ngo Ke Nghiep, expert of the Department of Safety - Ministry of Home Affairs, conveyed professional contents related to occupational safety and hygiene.

At the training session, lecturer Ngo Ke Nghiep - expert of the Department of Safety, Ministry of Home Affairs - conveyed professional contents related to the regime and policies on labor and occupational safety and hygiene; regulations on working hours, rest, overtime; labor regulations and Collective Labor Agreement; collective bargaining skills, especially agreements on safety and occupational hygiene conditions at the workplace.

Through the training, trainees were updated with legal knowledge, practiced negotiation skills and improved their capacity to organize and effectively implement occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace. This is an important foundation for trade union officials to promote their role as representatives, care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers./.
