Provincial People's Committee members meeting in May

On the afternoon of May 16, comrade Pham Van Thieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting of members of the Provincial People's Committee in May 2025. Attending the meeting were Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Huu Tri and members of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, the drafting units presented 33 draft documents including: draft Proposal of the Provincial People's Committee and draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council regulating the policy of supporting residential land for ethnic minorities living in Bac Lieu province; draft Proposal of the Provincial People's Committee and draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Provincial People's Council's resolutions regulating principles, criteria, and norms for allocating state budget capital to implement the national target program on sustainable poverty reduction for the period 2021 - 2025 in Bac Lieu province; draft Decision of the Provincial People's Committee approving the planning area for high-quality rice cultivation in the province; draft Decision of the Provincial People's Committee canceling 2 Decisions of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee (Decision 510/QD-UBND dated November 25, 2021 and Decision 540/QD-UBND dated December 13, 2021); Draft Environmental License for the Long Dien raw shrimp processing and peeling workshop project of Ca Mau Seafood Processing and Services Joint Stock Company; request for permission to apply Circular 49/2016/TT-BTNMT dated December 28, 2016 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment regulating the supervision, inspection, appraisal and acceptance of works and products in the field of land; draft Proposal of the Provincial People's Committee and draft Resolution of the People's Council approving the content of adjusting the Housing Development Program of Bac Lieu province, period 2021 - 2030; draft Decision of the Provincial People's Committee approving the project to adjust the General Planning of Bac Lieu city to 2045; draft Plan of the Provincial People's Committee to implement the social housing target for the period 2025 - 2030 in Bac Lieu province; Draft Official Dispatch of the Provincial People's Committee on agreement on construction location of works (not part of inland waterway infrastructure) related to inland waterway traffic; Draft Decision of the Provincial People's Committee abolishing Decision 16/2020/QD-UBND dated June 4, 2020 of the Provincial People's Committee regulating auction of land use rights to allocate land with land use fees or lease land in the province...

With a high sense of responsibility, members of the Provincial People's Committee contributed and unanimously approved 33 draft documents.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Pham Van Thieu requested the units assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to be responsible for drafting the contents approved by the members of the Provincial People's Committee, to absorb the comments contributed at the meeting and promptly complete them according to regulations, and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for promulgation. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that for the drafts submitted for approval at the upcoming session of the People's Council, he requested the relevant units to promptly follow the prescribed procedures for approval at the session...
