After listening to the discussion opinions and concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho highly appreciated the consensus and support of the people and the persistent efforts of the city authorities at all levels and districts in the movement to build New Rural Areas through two phases, from 2010 to present. The Vice Chairman emphasized that Hai Phong's achievement of the criteria and targets for building New Rural Areas is the result of the process of drastic direction, synchronous implementation and active participation of the whole society. To complete the process of requesting recognition, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment, relevant functional sectors and localities to urgently coordinate and promptly complete the dossier to submit to the Central agencies for appraisal and report to the Government for consideration and recognition of the city's completion of the task of building New Rural Areas. In the process of completing the dossier, the units need to ensure the consistency and accuracy of data according to the latest time period and status. At the same time, the information in the profile must be logically constructed, have long-term stability, and be consistent with the development orientation and arrangement and consolidation of administrative units in the coming time./.
