Awarding scholarships to disadvantaged children and inspecting and supervising the "Happy Noodle Package" Project

On the morning of May 23, the Provincial Children's Fund in collaboration with the Vietnam Children's Fund and Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company organized a scholarship program for disadvantaged children and inspected and supervised the "Happy Noodle Package" project in the province. Attending the program were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Children's Fund; leaders of the Department of Health and the Provincial Children's Fund.

“Happy Noodle Package” is a social activity project by Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company in collaboration with the Vietnam Children's Fund to increase food rations, improve nutrition and enhance the quality of life, helping children in special and difficult circumstances, children from ethnic minorities, and mountainous areas have better conditions to study and develop.

The project includes activities such as giving away pho, instant noodles, scholarships to children in difficult circumstances, giving clean water facilities to disadvantaged schools, remote areas... with a total support budget of about 3.5 billion VND to date.

In Vinh Phuc , to date, the total funding of the “Happy Noodle Package” Project for children is over 210 million VND. The sponsor has donated 1,185 boxes of Acecook noodles and pho to 790 students of Dong Tien Primary School and Minh Quang Primary School (Tam Dao).

At the program, the Vietnam Children's Fund in collaboration with the Provincial Children's Fund and Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company awarded 60 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to disadvantaged students of Tan Dong Primary School, Bo Ly Primary School, Vinh Thanh Primary School and Dong Tien Primary School (Tam Dao).

Through the actual inspection of the implementation of the "Happy Noodle Package" Project at Dong Tien Primary School, it was shown that the school has arranged and preserved noodles and pho properly, safely and distributed them according to plan; directed the kitchen to cook noodles and pho for students according to the program's standards and instructions, helping them have full, nutritious meals so they can study with peace of mind.

In the afternoon of the same day, delegates continued to inspect and supervise the implementation of the "Happy Noodle Package" Project at Minh Quang Primary School.
