Conference to review the implementation of Project 1336/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on replicating the model of Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs (period up to 2025).
The Intergenerational Self-Help Club model has been implemented by the Representative Board of the Elderly Association at all levels since 2017. To date, the province has established 208 clubs, exceeding 110% of the target assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, attracting more than 11,000 members to participate.
In recent times, Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs have focused on promoting activities to support members in developing their family economy and increasing their income. To date, 770 members have received loans for production and business to develop their family economy, with a total cumulative loan amount of VND 2,886 billion.
In the period of 2025-2030, the Board of Representatives of the Association of the Elderly strives that by 2030, each commune, ward and town will have at least 3 clubs, gradually building a care network and promoting the role of the elderly in the community.
On this occasion, the Provincial Elderly Association Representative Board awarded certificates of merit to 18 collectives and 13 individuals with achievements in implementing Project 1336/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on replicating the Intergenerational Self-Help Club model in the period 2021-2025.
