Low mountainous areas (including districts: Bao Yen, Bao Thang, Van Ban and some lowland communes of Bat Xat and Muong Khuong districts): Cloudy, with scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms, some places with moderate rain; Southeast wind level 2. Lao Cai City: Cloudy, sometimes rainy, showers and thunderstorms; Southeast wind level 2. Temperature from 25 to 28 ^o C, average humidity above 80%.

Sa Pa tourist area: Cloudy, sometimes rain, showers and thunderstorms; Southeast wind level 2. Cold at night and early morning. Temperature from 16 to 21 ^o C, average humidity above 85%.

Bac Ha tourist area: Cloudy, sometimes rain, showers and thunderstorms; Southeast wind level 2. Cold at night and early morning. Temperature from 20 to 23 ^o C, average humidity above 85%.

Widespread thunderstorms are likely to be accompanied by extreme phenomena such as hail, tornadoes, strong winds and lightning. Therefore, local people, especially in mountainous areas, need to be on guard against the occurrence of such natural disasters causing damage. Be alert to localized heavy rains due to terrain conditions that can cause sudden flash floods in small streams and landslides in steep terrain.
