At the reception, Mr. Huh Jin Hong expressed his gratitude to the city leaders for taking the time to welcome and share general information about GS E&C - a global urban development and construction corporation, founded in 1969 in Korea. Currently, GS E&C has 29 representative offices in 15 countries on the continents: Asia, Europe, Africa and North America.
In Vietnam, GS E&C started operating in 2007, focusing on real estate, infrastructure construction, landscape design and urban development. In Ho Chi Minh City alone, this enterprise has participated in many large projects, notably the Tan Son Nhat - Binh Loi - Outer Ring Road, Nha Be New Urban Area and Long Binh Urban Area.
Vice President of GS E&C highly appreciated the dynamic development potential of Ho Chi Minh City and affirmed his desire to accompany the city in the process of building and developing modern and sustainable infrastructure, aiming to become one of the leading cities in Southeast Asia. At the same time, Mr. Huh Jin Hong also shared some difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of current projects and hoped that the city would support timely solutions to ensure progress and investment efficiency.

Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc acknowledged and highly appreciated the presence and contributions of GS E&C in the city's urban development over the past years. Mr. Duoc emphasized that the projects in which GS E&C participated have contributed to improving traffic infrastructure and urban appearance.
Ho Chi Minh City leaders said that the city is prioritizing calling for strategic investors with financial capacity, international experience and advanced technology to accompany the planning and implementation of key projects. This includes areas such as strategic transport infrastructure development (urban railways, belt roads, etc.), smart urban development, social housing construction, as well as green energy and renewable energy projects.
With experience and modern construction technology from Korea, the Chairman of the City People's Committee expressed his belief that GS E&C Group can expand its role not only as an investor but also as a technology transfer partner, design and planning consultant, or participate in the public-private partnership (PPP) model with the City government. The common goal is to jointly solve the problem of integrated and synchronous urban space development, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable growth of Ho Chi Minh City in the new period.
