Awarding 750 million VND to support women in starting businesses

(CT) - The Women's Union of Nga Bay Ward has just coordinated with the Nga Bay Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Can Tho City to organize the granting of start-up livelihood capital to 10 members, women in difficult circumstances.

Nga Bay Ward Women's Union gives capital to members and women to start businesses.

Each member is supported from 30-100 million VND, depending on the registered economic model such as opening a dumpling shop, selling soft drinks, growing green-skinned grapefruit... The total capital supported for 10 members, women is 750 million VND. Thereby, helping women to be confident and bold in economic development, to escape poverty sustainably, and to affirm their position in society.
