Deploying the peak of anti-smuggling and trade fraud

Mr. Doan Minh Dung, Head of the Tax Department of Region XV, said that the tax sector has developed a peak action plan to prevent and handle violations in the fields of smuggling and trade fraud.

Inspection and examination work has also been focused on and strengthened, especially in enterprises operating in high-risk industries such as: import and export, production and trading of key products including milk and dairy products, functional foods, modern medicines, medicinal herbs, cosmetics, etc.

In the coming time, the Tax Department of Region XV will continue to strengthen the review and inspection of tax obligations, especially for organizations and individuals operating on e-commerce platforms. The goal is to promptly detect and handle acts of fraud and tax evasion.

This peak period will be implemented from now until mid-June 2025.
