Gia Lai: Export turnover in 5 months is estimated at nearly 757 million USD

The export turnover almost reached the annual plan when it was less than half way through, which was an extremely impressive result. Of which, the coffee export output reached 131,000 tons, equivalent to 731 million USD, up 70.79% in value; rubber latex reached 221 tons, equivalent to 0.48 million USD, up more than 2 times in volume and 4 times in value; wood products reached 0.8 million USD; other items reached 24.67 million USD.

The main reason for the growth in export turnover is the high price of coffee. Coffee export not only plays a leading role but also is the main factor that accelerates the export turnover of the province.

Domestic coffee purchase price in May 2025 is about 126,000 VND/kg, average export price is 5,500 USD/ton (up more than 70% over the same period).
