Ia Grai District People's Council passed 2 resolutions at the 20th thematic session

At the meeting, the District People's Council reviewed the reports of the District People's Committee, including: Report on local budget transfer in 2025; plan to use increased revenue sources and save budget expenditures in 2024; and the situation of district budget reserve expenditures up to May 16, 2025.

Based on the discussion, the District People's Council unanimously approved two draft Resolutions on the settlement of the local budget in 2024 and the Resolution on adjusting the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025.

Accordingly, the District People's Council agreed to reduce capital for the projects: Ia Pech Commune People's Council - People's Committee Headquarters, Ngai Yo Village self-flowing domestic water project, because the actual volume of payment required is lower than the initial estimate. At the same time, the implementation of the Ia Pech Commune Cultural - Sports Center, Ia Chia Commune Cultural - Sports Center and 2/9 Kindergarten projects was temporarily suspended due to the fact that construction had not yet started.

The District People's Council also agreed to allocate counterpart funds to pay for a number of projects from the transferred land use fee revenue, including: Ia Yok Commune Police Headquarters, the planned road to expand Ia Kha town to the North, counterpart funds to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Development and the Socio-Economic Development Program for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2025 period.

In addition, the meeting also agreed to reduce the investment preparation budget for new projects starting in 2026 from VND 218 million to VND 0, in order to prioritize capital allocation for payment of projects that have been implemented.
