Mr. Le Vuong Quoc Hung and his journey of starting a business from "empty hands"

Since childhood, Mr. Quoc Hung (originally from Ben Tre province) and his mother moved to Tien Giang province to live and work. He soon became interested in traditional medicine when he studied and came into contact with medicinal recipes at the pagoda where he grew up. After his mother became seriously ill, Mr. Quoc Hung temporarily put his studies on hold to work for hire, then continued to pursue his passion for traditional medicine. From this foundation, he began to research and prepare oriental medicine products such as Artemisia foot bath tea, Bom bop tea, Uy Linh Tien honey, etc.

In 2019, despite having no capital, Hung still decided to establish the Vuong Cung Pharmacy to implement a herbal tea production project. With the spirit of dynamic youth, daring to think and dare to do, Mr. Quoc Hung mortgaged his house papers, borrowed from the bank and received support from the Provincial Youth Union's Startup Fund. The first products such as HP Hung Thao Vuong Tea, Bom Bop Liver Tea, Cot Vuong Tea, Happiness Tea, Soursop Tea, Artemisia Diep Thao Foot Bath Tea, Longevity and Life-Protecting Tea... gradually affirmed their position in the market thanks to their quality and clear treatment effectiveness.

Notably, Happy Tea is prepared by Mr. Hung from grapefruit raw materials of farmers in Tan My Chanh commune, helping to create more output and added value for Tan My Chanh grapefruit trees.

Currently, Mr. Hung's products have established a foothold in the market with stable output, with thousands of tea boxes reaching consumers in and outside the province. Mr. Hung always pays attention to researching and improving the quality of products of Vuong Cung Pharmacy.

Up to now, Vuong Cung Pharmacy has had 4 products recognized as meeting 3-star OCOP standards: Bom Bop liver tea, Cot Vuong tea, Hung Thao HP royal tea and An Tho Bao Menh tea. Mr. Hung's products have also received many creative awards in and outside the province.

In addition to producing herbal tea at the Vuong Cung Pharmacy and examining and treating patients at the Tran Nam Thai Y Vien clinic, Mr. Le Vuong Quoc Hung also actively participates in volunteer activities and provides free medical examinations for patients in difficult circumstances.

Not only focusing on production, Mr. Hung is also active in social activities: From distributing masks and hand sanitizers during the Covid-19 pandemic, to providing free tea to cancer patients. He is also the Chairman of the Tan My Chanh Youth Entrepreneurship Club, advising hundreds of young people on starting a business, sharing everything from planning to product development skills. For him, starting a business is not only a journey to get rich, but also a responsibility to the community.

With a mindset of continuous innovation, in 2025, Mr. Le Vuong Quoc Hung launched the Tran Nam Thai Y Vien Traditional Medicine Clinic in Binh Phong Hamlet, Tan My Chanh Commune, My Tho City. In particular, Mr. Hung provides free treatment for cancer patients. With perseverance, creativity and compassion, Le Vuong Quoc Hung has written an inspiring startup story, spreading the spirit of overcoming difficulties and the desire to contribute to today's youth.

With the results achieved, Mr. Quoc Hung has received many awards such as: Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union for his excellent achievements in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic and the title of Outstanding Youth Union Secretary nationwide in 2021; Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee for his outstanding achievements in building Tan My Chanh commune to meet the new rural model standards in 2022; Certificate of Merit from the Tien Giang Provincial Youth Union for his achievements as an outstanding Youth Union official of Tien Giang province in 2021. In particular, Mr. Quoc Hung was recognized by the Central Youth Union as an Outstanding Youth Nation nationwide in 2023.
