Gia Lai orients the work of compiling Party history at all levels in the process of restructuring the apparatus.

Accordingly, the Provincial Party Standing Committee requested Party committees, units and localities to continue to attach importance to the work of compiling and summarizing the history of Party Committees at all levels in the context that the entire political system is promoting the revolution of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system, reorganizing administrative units and organizing two-level local governments, in order to promptly summarize and acknowledge the achievements of leadership, direction and implementation of tasks in the past time; unify political and ideological awareness; ensure harmony, historical-cultural character, and inheritance for the new development stage.

At the same time, proactively select appropriate options to organize the implementation of summarizing and compiling the Party history, the local Party history chronicle including: the history of the Party at district and commune levels for the period 2020-2025, the time before the arrangement and merger, ensuring the continuity and continuity of the historical flow (if the Party committees, units, and localities are organizing the implementation of research and compilation).

Conduct a summary of the Party history for the 2020-2025 period in particular and the entire historical journey from the establishment of the Party Committees to 2025 in general; evaluate and summarize the achievements and breakthroughs in all areas of Party building and the political system, economy , culture-society, national defense-security, and foreign affairs.

Affirming the achievements, recognizing important milestones, achievements, and creative ways of doing things that need to be honored; collectives and individuals with important contributions; drawing valuable lessons in building strategic orientations and in leading and directing implementation at Party committees, units, and localities; as a basis for recognizing the development milestones of Party committees, units, and localities before the time of arrangement and merger, creating a foundation for continuing to write new pages of history of Party committees, units, and localities in the new era of development.

During the implementation process, it is necessary to pay attention to the process of building documents for Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; especially in objectively, honestly and comprehensively assessing the situation and results of implementing the congress resolution for the 2020-2025 term as well as clearly identifying strengths, orientations and development focuses associated with strategies, tasks and solutions for socio-economic development of Party committees, units and localities after the arrangement, merger and establishment.

In particular, for Party committees, units and localities that are compiling Party history and traditional history, urgently lead and direct the compilation and completion of procedures for printing and publishing according to plans and regulations before completing the arrangement of the political system apparatus, administrative units and 2-level local government organizations.

For Party committees, units and localities that have not yet developed a plan to compile Party history and traditional history, the compilation will be temporarily suspended. After completing the arrangement, merger and new establishment, the compilation will be organized according to the instructions of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

Party committees and heads of Party committees are responsible for presiding over, leading and directing the work of organizing, compiling, summarizing and accepting, and approving Party history works, ensuring the principle of democratic centralism, fully promoting the authority and responsibility of Party committees and heads of Party committees; ensuring practicality, effectiveness, and suitability to the conditions of Party committees, units, and localities.

Along with that, strictly implement Plan No. 21-KH/TU dated April 4, 2019 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to implement Directive No. 20-CT/TW of the Secretariat on continuing to strengthen and improve the quality of research, compilation, propaganda and education of Party history; Instruction No. 15-HD/BTGTU dated July 27, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department (now the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department) on the process of researching, compiling and appraising Party history works, traditional history of departments, branches, sectors, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations in Gia Lai province.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department to monitor and guide Party committees at all levels, units, and localities in compiling Party history and traditional history in the province.
