Enthusiastic about the new latex tapping season

Before the sun had even risen, Nguyen Hong Hanh, a worker at Binh Ba Rubber Plantation, was already at the rubber plantation to start work. He expertly and decisively cut a line on the tree trunk with his knife, and white latex flowed out along the cut into a bowl. After the latex filled the bowl, he and his colleagues carried buckets to each tree to pour out the latex, then loaded it onto a truck and brought it to the processing plant.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Hanh said: “In each new tapping season, we always strive to complete the year’s output. Each group, team, and individual strives to compete and is determined to tap all the trees and drain all the sap to achieve high output and quality, contributing to helping the company’s products increasingly affirm their brand and position in the domestic and foreign markets.”

At Hoa Binh plantation, workers of Thong Nhat Rubber Joint Stock Company have also started the new tapping season. Finishing the tapping, looking at the long stream of pure white latex, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, a worker at Hoa Binh 2 Rubber Plantation, could not hide his joy. Because for workers who have been attached to the job, the steady flow of white latex signals a bumper tapping season. Mr. Nguyen Van Loi shared: "This year, the garden is growing well, so the spirit for the new tapping season is also more exciting. My colleagues and I are trying our best with the company to complete the assigned output."

Increase mining output

Encouraging workers to boost production right from the beginning of the tapping season, Mr. Tran Khac Chung, Party Secretary and General Director of Ba Ria Rubber Joint Stock Company, shared that in the new tapping season of 2025, the company will continue to harvest rubber latex according to the motto "Tapping all trees - collecting all latex - strictly managing - not losing products".

In 2025, the company was assigned by the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group with a target of 8,800 tons of exploited output, 11,800 tons of processed output, total revenue of 589 billion VND, pre-tax profit of 181 billion VND; striving to exceed the plan by 7%. Thereby improving the lives of workers, with an average income of not less than 10 million VND/person/month.

“The price of rubber has also improved, which has created more motivation for workers to be excited and hopeful for a bumper year, with higher output than last year. The company has also introduced many solutions in production and policies for workers so that they can work with peace of mind,” said Mr. Chung.

Meanwhile, Thong Nhat Rubber Joint Stock Company strives to exploit 1,933 tons, process and process 5,225 tons; and consume 1,804 tons. According to the company's leaders, the quality of the garden is stable thanks to synchronous solutions from seed planning, new planting, replanting, care, exploitation... The skills of latex tapping workers are excellent, thanks to which, productivity and output are always high. The company is confident in exceeding the production plan, creating a premise to take good care of the lives of workers.
