On May 16, at the Con Son - Kiep Bac Special National Relic Site (Chi Linh City), the People's Committee of Hai Duong province coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize the program "Day to learn about Vietnam" in 2025. The event is one of the outstanding cultural diplomacy activities, aiming to promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam to the international community.

“Vietnam Learning Day” is an annual program organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2015, for Ambassadors and Heads of International Organizations working in Hanoi .

After nearly a decade of organization, the program has become an important cultural bridge, helping the diplomatic corps gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam's foreign policy and socio-economic development achievements. At the same time, it helps to discover the unique features of Vietnamese cultural life and traditions.

This year, the program takes place over two days (May 16-17) in three provinces: Bac Giang, Hai Duong and Quang Ninh - home to the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac relic and scenic complex. This is a complex that Vietnam is preparing a dossier to nominate for UNESCO to be listed as a World Heritage Site.

Speaking at the reception of the Ambassadors, Heads of international organizations and the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province - emphasized that the authorities and people of the three provinces of Hai Duong, Quang Ninh and Bac Giang are always united and make efforts to preserve and promote the tangible and intangible heritage values of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac Complex. This is not only a valuable heritage of Vietnam but also has great significance for the human community.

Submitting the dossier to UNESCO for recognition of the complex as a World Heritage Site is a strategic step, aiming to spread the value of national culture. At the same time, it affirms Vietnam's responsibility in preserving and promoting the common heritage of humanity.
