Science and Technology Book Exhibition 2025: Inspiring knowledge, creating the future

Taking place from May 15 to 17, 2025 in Hanoi , the Science and Technology Book Exhibition is not only a book display activity, but also a space for academic connection, technology exchange, spreading the spirit of innovation and digital transformation.

In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Dac Hien, Director of the Department of Information and Statistics, emphasized: We are living and working in a world that is changing rapidly, deeply and strongly under the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, comprehensive digital transformation and the explosion of artificial intelligence.

Never before has accessing, disseminating and applying scientific and technological knowledge been as fast, flexible and convenient as it is today, especially with the strong and comprehensive support of artificial intelligence platforms such as: GPT, DeepSeek, Grock, Gemine... In that context, scientific and technological books, whether in traditional or electronic form, still play an important role in preserving, sharing and spreading knowledge to the community.

Mr. Tran Dac Hien, Director of the Department of Information and Statistics, affirmed that books are a tool to preserve, share and spread knowledge in the community.

The Science and Technology Book Exhibition is not only an opportunity to honor the role of books in developing scientific thinking and arousing the passion for discovery, but also contributes to spreading the reading culture in the community, especially among young people. The event creates a bridge between the science and technology community andeducation and training, aiming to build civilized and modern people in the digital age.

Within the framework of the Exhibition, hundreds of books in the fields of Science and Technology were introduced and displayed. These are valuable documents, not only reflecting the achievements of Science and Technology in Vietnam and the world, but also inspiring innovation and creativity in the future.

Along with that, the Exhibition is also an interactive space, experiencing new technology, a forum for academic exchange, sharing knowledge and inspiring creativity for the young generation.

This year's Science and Technology Book Exhibition is designed with two main areas. In the indoor space, thematic sub-areas create a journey connecting the history - present - future of Vietnam's science and technology such as: Scientific imprints in the journey of national unification (1945-1975); Vietnam's scientific achievements 50 years after unification (1975-2025); Digital transformation - Journey to reach Vietnamese intelligence (Books, digital databases, technology solutions in the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and AI); Future science - Connecting the young generation (Technology experience space, popular science books, AI interaction).

The outdoor area has 15-20 booths of publishing units, research institutes and science and technology enterprises, creating a friendly space for readers to interact, exchange and explore.

The highlight of the event series is the contest "Vietnamese Youth with Science and Technology Knowledge", which attracts the enthusiastic participation of student clubs in Hanoi. The contest encourages contestants to share inspiring stories about Vietnamese scientists or introduce their favorite science books. This is not only a creative playground but also an opportunity to spread the scientific spirit to the young community.

In addition, the seminar introducing new publications of the Science and Technology Publishing House such as the book series "DEEPSEEK - AI for everyone - Knowledge for all industries", "AI & Coding - Unleashing technological potential for future generations", attracted special attention. These are book series that are both academic and highly practical, helping to expand knowledge and form technological thinking early.

Seminars such as "Exploiting the digital knowledge ecosystem - Creating breakthroughs in research", "AI for students - Discover yourself, master the future" also create useful forums for students, researchers and experts to exchange, learn and develop creative scientific ideas.
