At a press conference on the planned agenda for the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly, Deputy Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee on Delegate Affairs, Ta Thi Yen, answered questions from the press regarding personnel matters at the session.
Ms. Ta Thi Yen emphasized that, in addition to legislative matters, supervision, and decision-making on socio-economic development issues and policies, personnel matters are a highlight that voters and the public are particularly interested in at the session.
Based on the decisions of the Central Executive Committee and the submissions from competent authorities, the National Assembly will consider and decide on a number of personnel matters within its jurisdiction.
This is a regular activity aimed at ensuring the continuity, stability, and effectiveness of the apparatus in the new situation, and the entire personnel process is conducted in accordance with the Constitution and laws; ensuring democracy, objectivity, and transparency; National Assembly deputies will exercise their rights and responsibilities before the people and voters through secret ballots to ensure the principle of democratic centralism.
"Currently, the competent authorities are finalizing personnel procedures in accordance with regulations, and it is expected that personnel matters will be discussed on the last day of the first week of the National Assembly session. It can be affirmed that personnel matters at this session will also be prepared meticulously and systematically. This is not only a step towards consolidating the organizational structure at the end of the term, but also lays the foundation for the activities and effectiveness of the state apparatus in the next phase," said Ta Thi Yen, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee on Delegate Affairs.
