Camphor trees are planted along the road from the headquarters of the People's Committee of Hong Khe commune to provincial road 394.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Binh Giang district, by March 18, the district had basically completed the spring tree planting plan, more than a month ahead of schedule (the district's plan was to finish planting in April). Communes and towns in the district have planted 52,000 trees, mainly perennial and shade trees.

In particular, this year Binh Giang planted 1,000 camphor trees from the headquarters of the People's Committee of Hong Khe commune to provincial road 394 and from the intersection of national highway 38 in Vinh Hung commune to the expanded Phuc Dien industrial park with a total length of about 7 km. Camphor is one of the urban trees, known for its ability to create shade, contributing to improving air quality thanks to its ability to absorb toxic gases and fine dust.

In 2025, Binh Giang district strives to plant 63,000 trees, an increase of 1,000 trees compared to 2024. From now until the end of the year, communes and towns will continue to plant about 11,000 additional trees.
