The general planning for the construction of Binh Nam commune until 2030 has just been announced. The goal of the planning is to connect the residential network of villages in the area in accordance with the customs, habits and lifestyles of the residents. The planning divides the production zones of crops and livestock reasonably, increases the creative capacity of human resources, and promotes sustainable socio -economic development.
Mr. Pham Cong Quoc - Chairman of Binh Nam Commune People's Committee said that based on the announced master plan, the commune has developed a plan to exploit and effectively use land funds and ecological landscapes.
At the same time, invest in and improve the infrastructure system to meet the production and living needs of the people, contributing to preventing and mitigating natural disasters. The commune combines local planning with district planning, Chu Lai Open Economic Zone planning, as a legal basis for implementing detailed planning and construction investment projects.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoang - Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Nam commune, in economic development, Binh Nam commune focuses on two main functions: developing industry - trade - tourism - services and developing agriculture in the direction of high technology.
“Binh Nam has the advantage that 80% of its area belongs to Chu Lai Open Economic Zone with 4 industrial parks located in the area, and major traffic routes running through it. The locality focuses on attracting investment and promoting agricultural production models in the direction of clean agriculture, organic agriculture, and high-tech agriculture,” Mr. Hoang shared.
Chu Lai Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Company Limited (CIZIDCO) is implementing the Tam Thang Industrial Park expansion project with a scale of 242 hectares in Binh Nam commune with a total investment of 900 billion VND.
When completed, the project will create jobs for 18,000 workers in Binh Nam commune and neighboring areas. The project will connect Binh Nam with Tam Ky city, forming an urban and industrial appearance for Binh Nam in the future.
According to Mr. Nguyen Vinh Duong - Deputy Director of CIZIDCO, since January 2022, the enterprise has coordinated with the People's Committee of Binh Nam commune and related units to clear the land, promptly invest in an 80-hectare factory cluster for Hyosung Group to invest in production of more than 1.2 billion USD. The general construction planning of Binh Nam commune has been announced, which will be a great advantage for CIZIDCO to continue to implement and complete the project.
The general planning scale of Binh Nam commune includes the entire natural area within the administrative boundary of the commune of 25.79 km2 with 6 villages: Thai Dong, Tich Yen, Dong Tac, Nghia Hoa, Phuong Tan, Vinh Giang. The planning boundary of Binh Nam commune: The north borders Binh Sa, Binh Trung, Binh Hai communes; the east borders the East Sea; the west borders Binh An commune; the south borders Tam Thang, Tam Thanh communes (Tam Ky city).
