The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 in the province. Accordingly, the main activities will take place from April 15th to May 2nd, with the messages: "Reading culture - Connecting the community", "Together with books, we enter the era of national progress", "Reading books - enriching knowledge, nurturing aspirations, promoting innovation and creativity".

Việt Nam•09/04/2025This year, Vietnam's Book and Reading Culture Day is being implemented in conjunction with the political tasks and major national and provincial holidays in 2025, aiming to promote the value of books and reading culture in the community. Activities will combine traditional methods with the trends of digital transformation. These will focus on areas such as information and promotion about Vietnam's Book and Reading Culture Day; organizing reading culture festivals; donating bookshelves and books to schools in disadvantaged areas; and implementing Vietnam's Book and Reading Culture Day in schools, libraries, agencies, units, and localities.
The organization of Vietnam's Book and Reading Culture Day aims to affirm the position, role, and importance of books in enhancing knowledge, skills, developing thinking, education , and character building. It also encourages and develops the reading movement, creates a favorable reading environment, and fosters reading habits in families, schools, and workplaces. Furthermore, it seeks to identify and honor organizations and individuals who have contributed to the development of books and reading culture in the community, thereby contributing to the building of Vietnamese cultural values and human standards.
