Dai Giac Pagoda was built in 2023 in Pho Hoa village, formerly Gia Pho commune (now Huong Pho commune). The pagoda serves as a place of religious worship for Buddhists and local people.
Mr. Pham Nhu Trong (wearing a black shirt), a Buddhist who directly participates in planting, caring for, and creating the temple's landscape, said: "We have planted many types of flowers so that from the twelfth lunar month to the first lunar month, there are always flowers blooming brightly in the temple grounds. Currently, cockscomb and peony flowers have bloomed, while chrysanthemums and sunflowers will bloom during and after Tet." The grounds of Dai Giac Pagoda are filled with a variety of colorful flowers. Visiting the pagoda in early spring, people not only seek peace of mind but also enjoy the scenery, admire the flowers, and send their wishes for a peaceful and lucky new year.
Flowers such as dahlias, chrysanthemums, sunflowers, and cockscomb are meticulously cared for.
The climate in Huong Pho mountainous commune is quite harsh, so building this colorful flower garden was a tremendous effort on the part of the temple.
The flower garden at the temple gate not only beautifies the landscape but also conveys wishes for peace and a good start to the new year for everyone who comes to the temple during Tet and the arrival of spring.
Amidst the gentle spring breeze, Dai Giac Pagoda quietly radiates the value of peace – allowing anyone who visits to find their heart slowing down amidst the hurried pace of life...
Ms. Le Thi Phuong Thao from Huong Pho commune said: "Visiting Dai Giac Pagoda in the early spring, amidst the serene and peaceful atmosphere and the vibrant colors of fresh flowers, makes me feel like I am immersed in fresh nature..."
