Fire Up is the annual event to welcome new students of the Institute of Journalism, Academy of Journalism and Communication. Following the success of previous seasons, Fire Up this year returns with the theme “Stellarous - The mysterious world of light”, meaning that the Institute of Journalism will bring light and guidance to new students of K43.

On that journey, Fire Up 2023 has taken you on a magical journey through the photo series “Illumination”. This is a journey filled with color, mystery and novelty. There are not only rays of hope and opportunity but also rays of challenge and difficulty. Each small ray of light will be gathered to create a large torch leading new students to the true value of life.

The journey begins with the first door - the door of "love". Love does not appear in a specific form, nor does anyone clearly define "what is love?". However, it always exists in the simple things around us. But sometimes, does blind love make young people indulge in it?
The red ribbon is a symbol of blindness in love. Untie it and you will find the true beauty of this feeling.
After “love”, the door to “health” opens for new students with many surprises, hidden in it are meaningful lessons. Being born with a complete body is a blessing, but keeping that body healthy is important. In the journey of great training, “health” does not always support us. Therefore, you must always “plant” in your heart a strong hope with a desire to live and extraordinary willpower.
The gift of “health” will be for those who always know how to “sow” hope, “sow” the will to live. At that time, all health difficulties will no longer be a big problem.
Life is a long journey where there are always difficulties blocking our way, only then do we realize that home is the only place we want to return to. The door of "family" opens, giving K43 a message about the role and meaning of family. Family is both a great source of motivation and a warm home that is always ready to welcome us even if we fail. In a hurried, competitive life, people need to slow down and look at what they are trying for so as not to forget the truly important things, including "family".

“Passion” - the last door that closes an exciting journey. To be successful, passion is a necessary element for everyone. In the journey to conquer that passion, there will be unexpected difficulties that you cannot "react" to. With the main image of a pulley, “Illumination” wants to pull you out of those incidents and obstacles. From there, it gives you more strength and confidence in yourself to continue pursuing your passion, reaching for the things you desire.
Passion will become reality if you believe in yourself, persevere through adversity and courageously conquer yourself.
The journey of 4 stages: love, health, family, passion has ignited small fires in the hearts of each new student. From there, a large torch is opened to illuminate and guide the new students of K43 in the upcoming exciting but challenging journey at the Institute of Journalism, Academy of Journalism and Communication.
