The Politburo appointed Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem to hold the position of Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem - Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, from October 15.

On October 12, Son La Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel work. Mr. Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee, attended and directed the conference.

Mr. Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, presented the decision to the new Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee Hoang Van Nghiem.

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Phan Thang An announced the Decision of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem - Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, starting from October 15.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Minh Hung congratulated Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem on being entrusted with a new responsibility by the Politburo. Mr. Le Minh Hung said that the Politburo assessed Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem as a capable cadre with strong political will, extensive experience in leadership, direction, and management, with a scientific, democratic working style, close to the grassroots, and decisive in action.

In his assigned positions, Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem has always completed his tasks excellently, making positive contributions to the overall achievements of the locality and the working unit. The Politburo believes that in his new position, Mr. Nghiem will continue to promote his capacity and experience, and together with the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, unite and lead the locality to develop more comprehensively and sustainably in the coming period.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung requested the Son La Provincial Party Committee and agencies in the province to promote the spirit of solidarity, joint efforts, and unanimity, creating favorable conditions for the new Provincial Party Secretary to successfully complete the assigned tasks; continue to build Son La into a fast-growing, green, and sustainable province, worthy of being the economic and cultural center of the Northwest region.

Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem - Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee gave a speech accepting the assignment.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem affirmed that he will always make every effort, be dedicated and devoted to his work, uphold the sense of responsibility, pioneering and exemplary role of a leader; uphold the Party's principles and discipline, practice what he preaches, and work together with the Provincial Party Executive Committee to unite and promote the combined strength to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
