Ministry of Public Security starts construction of 16 houses for people in flood-hit Dak Lak

The Ministry of Public Security in coordination with Dak Lak province has just organized a groundbreaking ceremony to build houses for households whose houses collapsed due to storm No. 13 and flooding in Xuan Lanh commune.

Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security , provincial and local leaders performed the groundbreaking ceremony.

On behalf of the Minister of Public Security, Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Chief of Office, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Civil Defense Command of the Ministry of Public Security awarded funding to support the construction of 16 houses for households that suffered heavy damage.

Each house is worth 110 million VND, of which the Ministry of Public Security supports 50 million VND, the rest is arranged by the People's Committee of Dak Lak province. On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security also donated 80 tons of rice and many necessities to help people overcome difficulties after natural disasters.

On behalf of the Ministry of Public Security, Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen presented many gifts from the Minister of Public Security to the armed forces, Party committees and local authorities who have made many efforts and contributions to responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in Dak Lak.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen affirmed that the gifts were a meaningful sharing of the People's Public Security force for people in flood-affected areas, contributing to strengthening the military-civilian relationship and helping people to soon stabilize their lives and feel secure in working and producing.

Also in the program, Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen presented gifts from the Minister of Public Security to the armed forces and local authorities for their contributions in responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in the locality.
