The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced the percentile of 7 groups according to the common high school graduation exam scores, including: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Math, Literature, English), C01 (Math, Physics, Literature), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English). This is the basis for schools to build a table to convert equivalent standard scores between groups, and is also the basis for candidates to refer to when making university admission wishes.

Previously, Hanoi National University announced the conversion table between the competency assessment test scores organized by this unit and the 2025 high school graduation exam scores on a 30-point scale. Hanoi University of Science and Technology also announced the conversion method between groups and admission methods.
Candidates wishing to enter university will register and adjust their wishes an unlimited number of times on the Ministry of Education and Training's common system from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28.
From July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, candidates pay the admission fee according to the number of admission wishes online.
University benchmark scores will be announced before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
Before 5:30 p.m. on August 30, all admitted candidates (including direct admitted candidates) must confirm their enrollment on the system if they wish to study.
From September 1 to December 2025, candidates who need to apply for additional admission rounds will follow the admission information posted on the training institution's admission information page.
