Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, 53 years old, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghe An province's agencies, was appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Training on February 1.
The new Deputy Minister of Education and Training is from Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province, with a bachelor's degree in literature pedagogy.

Ms. Chi used to be a teacher, Deputy Director and then Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An. She spent nearly a year as Secretary of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee, before holding the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial Agencies from August 2021.
The Ministry of Education and Training is headed by Mr. Nguyen Kim Son, with five deputy ministers: Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Pham Ngoc Thuong, Hoang Minh Son, Ngo Thi Minh, and Nguyen Thi Kim Chi.
