Voter Le Van Son (Phu Thanh ward) shared that online fraud methods are becoming more and more sophisticated. Subjects often impersonate police, tax, and insurance agencies to call and text, targeting the elderly and students with online kidnapping tricks.
Voters asked authorities to take strong measures to resolve this situation.

Voters are also concerned about the situation of fake drugs, fake milk, and poor quality, which directly affect people's health and request that management agencies increase their supervision responsibilities.
On behalf of the delegation, Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Duc answered and explained the opinions of voters in 11 wards. The delegate said that the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly delegation, Unit 5, had fully recorded the opinions, and the opinions within the jurisdiction of each locality would be considered and resolved; at the same time, they would be synthesized and reported in the upcoming session.

Regarding the situation of online fraud and online kidnapping, Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Duc said that currently, all units have specialized forces to fight cybercrime and high-tech crime. However, the rapid development of technology and social networks also poses many risks.
According to Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Duc, people in the country have free access to many social networking platforms, but some people still lack prevention skills, creating conditions for criminals to take advantage.
“Many people freely share information and images of their families and children on social networks. Criminals only need to use AI to analyze and synthesize to manipulate psychology and commit fraud,” said Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Duc.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Duc affirmed that the police will never call people to ask them to provide personal information, install software or work online.
“When there is suspicion of fraud, people should block communication and immediately report to the police,” Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Duc emphasized.
