Vote to propose consideration and recognition of Thanh Phu and Binh Dai districts to meet new rural standards

BDK.VN - On the afternoon of April 26, 2025, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Canh; Nguyen Thi Be Muoi - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee (SC) of the Provincial National Target Programs for the period 2021 - 2025 chaired a meeting to give opinions and discuss, vote on the dossier requesting consideration and recognition of 2 districts: Thanh Phu, Binh Dai meeting new rural standards (NTM).

Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Canh and Nguyen Thi Be Muoi voted to propose considering and recognizing Thanh Phu and Binh Dai districts as meeting new rural standards.

At the meeting, representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment reported a summary of comments on the results of the examination of records and the level of meeting the NTM standards in 2024 for the two districts of Thanh Phu and Binh Dai; reported and explained the contents that people are still not satisfied with the results of NTM construction in Thanh Phu and Binh Dai districts according to the synthesis of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province;

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province reported the results of organizing the collection of opinions on people's satisfaction to propose recognizing Thanh Phu district and Binh Dai district as meeting NTM standards.

Delegates focused on discussing and clarifying issues of public concern such as traffic, clean water, environmental landscape, etc. for the two districts of Binh Dai and Thanh Phu and agreed to adjust some data according to regulations to complete the dossier.

At the meeting, delegates voted to propose considering and recognizing Binh Dai and Thanh Phu districts as meeting NTM standards with 100% of the delegates attending the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Canh acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of building new rural districts in the two districts of Binh Dai and Thanh Phu.

To complete the dossier to send to the Central Government, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the two localities take note of the opinions of the delegates at the meeting; coordinate with the provincial professional sector to soon complete the dossier to send to the province to submit to the Central Government for consideration and appraisal to recognize the district as meeting the NTM standards.

For communes registered to build to meet the standards of new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas that have met the criteria, urgently complete the dossier and send it to the province. The provincial departments and branches in charge of the criteria, when the communes send the dossier, need to immediately appraise it to complete the dossier and send it to the Working Group, advise the Steering Committee to organize a meeting to vote on the proposal to recognize the commune as meeting the standards of new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas according to the set time and plan.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to advise the Provincial People's Committee to organize a conference to summarize the Provincial National Target Program on New Rural Construction for the period 2021 - 2025, and deploy steps to prepare for the next phase.
