The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has decided to appoint and supplement Mr. Duong Hong Thang - Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs, to join the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

On the morning of September 25, the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee held a ceremony to announce the decision on personnel work. Attending were Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee on appointing and adding Mr. Duong Hong Thang - Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien - Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City, to join the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

In his speech assigning tasks, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc assessed Mr. Duong Hong Thang and Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien as officials who have gone through many working tasks, starting from the grassroots and completing all assigned tasks well, and are highly appreciated by the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City. He hoped that the addition of these two officials this time would help increase the strength of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

Speaking on accepting the assignment, Mr. Duong Hong Thang - Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - expressed his thanks to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee Party Committee for entrusting him with the assignment.

He pledged that with his new role and responsibilities, he will strive to fulfill the assigned tasks and do a good job of advising the Secretary of the City People's Committee Party Committee. In the immediate future, he will strive to complete the tasks of 2025 and successfully implement the tasks of the 2025 - 2030 term.
