On the morning of September 26, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the personnel decisions. At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee handed over the appointment decision to complete the Editorial Board of SGGP Newspaper. Accordingly, comrade Nguyen Khac Van, Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of SGGP Newspaper, holds the position of Acting Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper; 5 Deputy Editors-in-Chief include journalists: Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Bui Thi Hong Suong, Pham Van Truong, Truong Duc Nghia and Le Minh Tung.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to transfer and appoint comrade Nguyen Thanh Loi, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper, to hold the position of Director and Editor-in-Chief of Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing House.

At the same time, the decision to appoint personnel of 6 wards and communes was awarded: An Phu, Vinh Hoi, Phu Nhuan, Cau Ong Lanh, Phuoc Hai, Binh Chau.

In his speech assigning tasks, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc congratulated the comrades who had just been entrusted with tasks by the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. According to comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Ho Chi Minh City is making comprehensive efforts to promote the effective operation of the two-level local government model; striving to carry out patriotic emulation activities in all areas of work and in social life; welcoming the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress. At the same time, comprehensively leading and directing the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and commune-level socio-political organizations.

To effectively implement the above contents, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee rotates, mobilizes, and appoints comrades from the city's departments and branches to the grassroots level to undertake local requirements and tasks.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc congratulated Comrade Nguyen Khac Van on being assigned the position of Acting Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper.

Recalling the nearly 30 years of work of comrade Nguyen Khac Van in many different positions, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc believes that with enthusiasm, experience and prestige, comrade Nguyen Khac Van will build a united and unified collective so that SGGP Newspaper will always be worthy of being the agency of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the voice of the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City; leading and inspiring, motivating many other media agencies to contribute to the overall development of Ho Chi Minh City.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc commented on the work process of the Deputy Editors-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper and congratulated the comrades appointed by the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. Regarding the comrades from Binh Duong Newspaper and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper (formerly) who were assigned the task of Deputy Editors-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper, Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc believed that the comrades would quickly integrate, unite, and contribute to improving the capacity and prestige of the Party newspaper, contributing to improving the newspaper to be better and better, meeting the current needs of innovation.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc commented that SGGP Newspaper is a place to train in practical journalism, media and publishing, and to increase high-quality human resources for these fields.

He believes that Comrade Nguyen Thanh Loi, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper, who has taken on the role of Director and Editor-in-Chief of the General Publishing House, will quickly overcome initial difficulties and soon join the leadership to lead the General Publishing House to increasingly strong development.
