Urgently overcome landslide at Violak pass, Quang Ngai

On the evening of November 16, Mr. Thanh Minh Thuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Vi commune, Quang Ngai province, said that a landslide had just occurred on Violak pass on National Highway 24.

Accordingly, at 13:00 on the same day, at Km66+300 National Highway 24 (section through Ba Vi commune), a landslide occurred, with a landslide volume of about ^100m3 .

Immediately afterwards, the People's Committee of Ba Vi commune mobilized forces and the Department of Construction of Quang Ngai province to urgently deploy emergency remedial measures.

By 3:30 p.m. the same day, the landslide point was cleared.

Currently, the weather is still complicated, vehicles traveling on National Highway 24, especially Violak Pass, need to observe and move carefully to ensure safety.
