Suk Yeng Festival, which roughly translates to “Friday Prayer Roundabout”, is held sequentially on Fridays at the mosques (Sang Magik) of 7 Bani Muslim Cham villages in the province.
This year, the Suk Yeng ceremony begins in Thanh Tin village (Ninh Phuoc commune) on October 31, 2025; then moves to the following villages: Van Lam (Thuan Nam commune), Phu Nhuan (Ninh Phuoc commune), Luong Tri (Do Vinh ward), An Nhon and Phuoc Nhon (Xuan Hai commune); and finally ends in Tuan Tu village (Phuoc Dinh commune) on December 12, 2025.

Nowadays, in addition to the traditional ceremony, the Suk Yeng ceremony is also more colorful with the festival part; then, there is a meeting to exchange and discuss between the dignitaries, invited delegates, elders, intellectuals and followers about the religious work in the past 3 years. Finally, there is the prayer reading ceremony in the center of the sanctuary. This religious ceremony begins with the dignitaries purifying their bodies, beating the drum to open the ceremony, calling the ceremony, and praying.
At the end of the prayer, the dignitaries performed the offering ceremony and used two trays of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. These trays of offerings were prepared by the women, mothers, and sisters and carried from their homes to the mosque. This became a beautiful, unique image of the Suk Yeng festival in particular and the ceremonies at the mosque of the Bani Muslim Cham people in general.
Over time, the meaning of the Suk Yeng festival has changed somewhat, but above all, it is still an important occasion for the Bani Muslim Cham community to remember the gods and ancestors; for dignitaries and followers in the Bani Muslim community and even the Cham Brahman community to pray for national peace and prosperity, favorable weather, happiness, prosperity and success in life. At the same time, it is also a space for religious activities and beliefs to promote community cohesion and harmoniously connect the two religions of the Cham people today.
