Supplementing the planning of inland waterway ports specialized in building and repairing ships in Nui Thanh

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Nui Thanh district to study the actual situation and the socio -economic development needs of the locality to consider adding the planning of inland waterway ports specialized for shipbuilding and repair in the area to the General Planning dossier of the expanded Nui Thanh town (Nui Thanh urban area) or related construction planning dossiers of the locality. This planning supplement will serve as a basis for implementing the dossiers and procedures on the operation of shipbuilding and repair facilities according to regulations.

The district government is responsible for guiding Chu Lai Shipbuilding Joint Stock Company to carry out documents and procedures for land allocation or land lease for the current wharf area and the water area in front of the wharf according to local planning and the agreement of Quang Nam Maritime Port Authority related to the safety corridor of Ky Ha maritime channel.

The Provincial People's Committee also requested Chu Lai Shipbuilding Joint Stock Company to coordinate and work with the People's Committee of Nui Thanh district and related departments, branches, sectors and units to resolve documents and procedures on land, investment, construction, inland waterways, etc. in accordance with current legal regulations.
