Supplement and amend to complete the planning of subdivision 6 in Tam Ky

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung has just agreed in principle to allow reviewing, supplementing and amending the Zoning Plan 6 in Tam Ky, submitting it to competent authorities for consideration and approval before June 14, 2025.

The Sub-zone 6 planning was organized by the People's Committee of Tam Ky City to concretize the General Planning of Tam Ky City to 2030, with a vision to 2050. However, it has been temporarily suspended to supplement the overall assessment of Tam Ky urban drainage and some other related factors.

Now, considering that this planning needs to be implemented soon to meet the requirements of management, development and ensure the rights of people in the area; the Provincial People's Committee agrees in principle to allow reviewing, supplementing and amending the previously unfinished planning, submitting it to competent authorities for consideration and approval before June 14, 2025.

In order to appraise and approve the planning dossier for Sub-zone 6 in accordance with the provisions of law, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Tam Ky City to actively coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to complete the planning dossier.

Specifically, Tam Ky City People's Committee reviewed, adjusted and updated the new projects that have an impact on the area in the Zoning Plan 6, such as: Quang Nam Province's Integrated Adaptive Development Project, Provincial-level scientific project on flood response solutions for Tam Ky City and surrounding areas, Provincial planning, urban development orientation in the new period, etc.

The locality needs to review and have a suitable planning plan for the existing low-density residential area associated with preserving the village space and riverside landscape; including research in the direction of planning residential land or renovating for 70 households in the strip (but not allowing new residential land to arise, especially due to households from other places coming to buy, sell, divide plots, or change purposes).

The new development orientation area prioritizes the development of ecological resort tourism service spaces; green spaces, riverside parks suitable for the natural conditions in the Nhoong field area (developing residential land and houses with a reasonable scale, low density), minimizing the leveling of land that affects water storage capacity and flood prevention.

The planning needs to take into account the possibility of implementing the dredging project to clear the flow of Ban Thach River in the general solution orientation for drainage in the Nhoong field area, Ban Thach River, Ky Phu River...
